Oklahoma

state of oklahoma

As of November 1, 2021, Oklahoma law emphasizes the importance of both fit, willing, and able parents having substantial and continuing contact with their minor children. If a parent requests it, the court may grant substantially equal access to the children during temporary or final hearings, unless such an arrangement is deemed detrimental to the child's best interests. The court will consider factors such as the parents' ability to cooperate on child-related matters and any history of domestic violence, stalking, or harassment.
